What is the PRO-Hung system?
The PRO-Hung system is a professional door system that is ready to assemble on site in minutes. The door slab and the jambs are perfectly machined and ready to assemble and install in your rough opening. All machining is guaranteed to match perfectly.
Simply unpack the components (door slab, jambs, door stop, and hinges) in front of the opening, assemble in minutes, and install. You have no difficult machining to worry about!
Which doors are available in the PRO-Hung system?
All of our doors are available in the PRO-Hung system, including double-door systems! (All double-door systems include pre-installed ball catches.) Moulded interior doors may be ordered in left-hand or right-hand, or reversible.
What does a PRO-Hung Door System include?
- A door slab and jambs machined for three hinges and a lockset (2-3/8" backset)
- Finger-joint pine Colonial stops, pre-primed and cut to length
- Thicker jambs notched at the top for easier installation.
- Longer jambs to accomodate any type of flooring, including hardwood and tile.
- Three hinges in your choice of finishes.
- Left-hand and right-hand doors include a 3° bevel for a PRO-fit.
- Double-door systems include a roller catch.
How does the PRO-Hung system come packaged?
All moulded and French doors come in contractor-grade packaging to ensure easy damage-free transport to the job site. The hinges are pre-installed on the door slab. (On reversible doors, the hinges are in a separate package.)
What if I do not need door jambs?
No problem. You can order any door as just a slab. Or, if you require machining on your slab, PRO-Hung can machine any door to your exact specifications.
Can I get a PRO-Hung door pre-assembled?
YES! All PRO-Hung doors are available FULLY ASSEMBLED. As an added bonus, all fully-assembled PRO-Hung doors come with a free DoorClips installation kit (a $10 value).
